General Description of the Feature
The design of this feature includes two main improvements, one on the workflow designer and the workflow tool components and one on the relevant filter field in all the module grid lists. The goal of these improvements is to provide to the admin users a more user-friendly and easy to handle and configure the workflow designer page and to DSW and DASW users a more proper list of available Workflow Stage Groups based on the grid list accessed.
Workflow - Administration pages
Workflow Stage Groups page (~/SetupEntities/List/Workflow/IDMS_WF_StageGroup)
A new field has been added into the creation/update pop-up of the Workflow Stage groups. Each value can be characterized with one of the available Workflow Types or with none. With this characterization the WF Stage Group values can be filtered based of the functionality.
Workflow Designer
Based on the above mentioned change, when selecting to add a stage group on a WF State, the Stage Group field drop-down will filter in only values that their WF Type is matching with the workflow WF Type or is null.
This way the admin users will be able to see every time only a selection of values that is relevant with each Workflow based on their Workflow Type.
Module Grid Lists
Regarding the impact of the functionalities, filtering has been applied in the following pages. The Stage group filter will only fetch values of specific workflow type or null:
- ~/Opportunities/OpportunitiesList → SalesType
- ~/SalesOpportunity/LeadsGridList → SalesType
- ~/WholesalesOpportunity/WholesaleLeadsGridList → WholesaleType
- ~/JobCard/List → JobCardType
- ~/Jobcard/AppointmentsList → JobCardType
- ~/JobCard/JobCardsList → JobCardType
