General Description of the Feature

The necessity emerged to augment the financial calculations functionality with an additional field known as "Bank Interest %." This field is now incorporated into the vehicle financial templates, playing a role in the financing preparation of sales offers, yet it remains independent of the financing calculation algorithms.

Vehicle Financing Templates

The templates have undergone updates, introducing the "Bank Interest %" field. It's a non-mandatory numeric field, accepting values from 0 to 100. Once the templates are updated, the field values become accessible in the Vehicle Financing templates grid list under the relevant column, which can be reordered and sorted.

Sales Offer - Financing

Within the Vehicle Financing Template form, you'll find the new "Bank Interest %" field. It's read-only and takes its value from the selected template. Importantly, it doesn't influence any financing calculations; it serves purely as informational for the user. This field is persistent, retaining its value even after changes causing the template to detach or recalculate.

In the subsequent finance form "Add Finance," the field's value is transferred and becomes editable. The final value added here is then transferred after saving to the Offer financing list, visible in the relevant column.

This field can also be found in the Offer Preview pop-up in the financing section, triggered when:

  • creating an offer based on another offer that includes financing
  • creating an order based on an offer with financing

Finalized Financing

Upon creating an order with an offer that includes financing, the financing is considered finalized (refer to the related feature). In the related Business Partner and Vehicle (inventory) master data entries, this finalized financing is displayed. Notably, the "Bank Interest %" field isn't exposed in the finalized list; it can only be viewed by editing the relevant entry.

Business Benefit

This feature enhances the financial calculations functionality by introducing an informative field about the Bank interest percentage, contributing to a clearer financial overview.
