In order for a DSW user to search for a vehicle through Stock Locator the following setup must be completed:
- Create Inquiry Interest Type for Stock Locator vehicles through the setup page of ~/SetupEntities/List/SalesAndLeads/InquiryIntTypes
- Create Inquiry Workflow Selection for Stock Locator vehicles through the setup page of ~/SetupEntities/List/SalesAndLeads/InquiryWorkflowSelections
- Create Inquiry Make Interest Type for Stock Locator vehicles through the setup page of ~/SetupEntities/List/administration/IDMS_MAKEINTTYPE
When the above setup is completed, then the Stock Locator option is available when the user is on the process of qualifying an Interest. (This setup also works for "Walk In" Leads that the assigned VOI needs to be from the Stock Locator of the DMS)
For all Leads that are transfered from the DMS to the DSW (as described in the process of "DMS Lead Qualify Process"), when the DSW user has to Qualify the Interest of the generated Inquiry
he can select the option of "Stock Locator" in the pop-up window that opens
and then, the Stock Locator gridlist opens with a prefilled and not editable filter (based on the Inqury's interest) for the Make of vehicle
The user can also apply further filters as displayed above in order to narrow down the gridlist results depending on he interest of the customer and then select the "Apply" button and then gridlist refreshes and display the vehicles that exist in the DMS Stock Locator through the endpoint of POST (Stock Search)
Then the user can select the preferred vehicle from the "Select" button in the right side of the vehicle row and then the selected vehicle is added to the Inquiry, in the tab of "Qualified Interests"
The process to continue with this Inquiry (create or validate the Contact) is the same like described in "DMS Lead Qualify Process".
