Prerequisites 

To navigate effectively through the configuration catalog and the configuration guideline please read through the following points:

  1. Make sure you have completed the pre-study as well as the guided training on Digital Sales Workplace. 
  2. Please note that in order to start configuring your environment you need always to start with: 
    1. The Company structure and set-up 
    2. The User Management 
  3. Continue the set-up based on the components - modules you want to activate in your environment (i.e. Complaint Management, etc..)
  4. Consider any configuration items that are introduced in custom development. 

How to use the DSW configuration items catalog

To continue with the configuration items, you have the possibility to filter based on two dimensions: a) Process, b) Group, individually or combined. 

For example: use the filter Group contains 'User Management' to narrow down the list of configuration items needed to set-up a user in the system. Or, use the filter Process contains 'Sales' to narrow down the list of configuration items needed to set-up and use the sales process in the system. 

Make sure that you have access to 

  1. the DSW you want to set-up, the SAP-B1 application, the Notification server and integrated systems
  2. the confluence documentation about how to set-up and how the set-up is used in the system
