Create/sign Test Drive contract via 'Actions'

General Description of the Feature

This feature introduces new functionalities to create and sign Test Drive contracts via the 'Actions' menu, accommodating scenarios where customer information might not be fully available at the time of scheduling. These enhancements aim to streamline the Test Drive scheduling process, ensuring flexibility and efficiency.

Create and Sign Test Drive Contracts

New Required Views:

• Retail:
  • SalesOpporTestDriveCalendarView_OptionalCpInfo: Allows scheduling of Test Drives without mandatory customer license information.
• Multi-Unit Sales (MUS):
  • Multi-unit Test Drive Calendar View-Optional Cp Info: Functions similarly, providing flexibility in scheduling without mandatory customer license data.

These views are used alongside existing Test Drive appointment functions like “Create Test Drive Reservation without notification.”

Actions

Two new actions have been added to both Retail and MUS lead pages, configurable via a system setting key called "TestDriveStageGroupCodes" which defines the Stage Groups where these actions appear.

Create Test Drive Contract:

• Business Cases: Retail: 12353, MUS: 12355
• This action opens a popup requiring the entry of the Lead’s CP’s Driver’s License Number and Date of Birth. Upon saving, the system updates the information, creates a Test Drive contract, and displays it in the related tab. If no reservation is found for the Test Drive, an error message will indicate a possible workflow setup error.

Sign Test Drive Contract:

• Business Cases: Retail: 12354, MUS: 12356
• This action allows the user to open the previously created Test Drive document and facilitates the customer’s signature. After saving, the signed document is created and shown in the related tab. If the Test Drive contract was not created in the previous step, an appropriate error message is displayed.

Business Benefit 

These enhancements improve the Test Drive scheduling process by allowing greater flexibility in handling customer information. By providing the ability to create and sign Test Drive contracts through the 'Actions' menu, users can efficiently manage Test Drives even when complete customer data is not initially available.
