General Description of the Feature
This feature enhancement introduces the display of external Document Management System (DMS) Document IDs for offers and orders within the system.
Integration:
- When a document is sent to the DMS, The DMS responds back with the Document DMS Code information, which is saved to the field “U_IDMS_ForeignErpDocumentCode” in IDMS_DOCUMENT table.
Display of DMS Codes:
- In both Multi-Unit Sales and Retail Sales modules, a new column “DMS Code” has been added to the Printable Files Section in the Related Tab, displaying the DMS Code of the documents.
- For orders containing a DMS code, the DMS Code will be available as a printing parameter “{Header.DMSDocumentCode}”. Since this DMS Code is generated as response after the Order creation, the parameter can be used and will include the value only the "Signed Order Document".
Business Benefit
This enhancement improves traceability and integration with external DMS systems by displaying the DMS Document IDs directly within offers and orders. It enhances operational efficiency by providing quick access to DMS codes, facilitating easier document management and retrieval.
