General Description of the Feature
This function can be used to render different templates for documents based on specific property value from the provider setup.
For example: A dealer has different templates for offer & order documents depending on customer type (Private, Company) and vehicle status (Used Vehicle, New Vehicle, Demo Vehicle/Rental Vehicle/Test Drive Vehicle). This will cause that a B2B customer (Company) who buys a used vehicle would get an different Offer/Order document than an B2C customer (Private) who buys a used vehicle.
Therefore two extra properties could be set up to render different templates depending on vehicle status and customer type.
Create RTF-Documents
The offer/order document must be created in rtf-format. The document needs to be named depending on used properties. If the needed properties are "Header.CustomerType" and “Header.VehicleStatus" than offer/order documents should be named as following:
Different offer documents depending on customer type and vehicle status | |
---|---|
Customer Type: Company, Private | OfferPrintTemplateName_Company_UsedVehicle OfferPrintTemplateName_Private_UsedVehicle |
Customer Type: Company, Private | OfferPrintTemplateName_Company_NewVehicle OfferPrintTemplateName_Private_NewVehicle |
Customer Type: Company, Private | OfferPrintTemplateName_Company_DemoVehicle OfferPrintTemplateName_Private_DemoVehicle |
Different order documents depending on customer type and vehicle status | |
---|---|
Customer Type: Company, Private | OrderPrintTemplateName_Company_UsedVehicle OrderPrintTemplateName_Private_UsedVehicle |
Customer Type: Company, Private | OrderPrintTemplateName_Company_NewVehicle OrderPrintTemplateName_Private_NewVehicle |
Customer Type: Company, Private | OrderPrintTemplateName_Company_DemoVehicle OrderPrintTemplateName_Private_DemoVehicle |
Upload RTF-Documents into notification server
Each created offer/order document in rtf-format must be uploaded into notification server.
