General Description of the Feature
This feature deals with the enhancement of the available Print Providers with a new Selection which is made to serve Testing and Debugging purposes.
There are many cases during the testing and preparation of a new system, where the integration with external printing provider or the document templates for the internal printing provider are not yet finished. In order to safeguard and ensure that the testing of the whole workflow and process (Sales, Purchase etc.) will not be interrupted, because of the missing rendered documents, we created a new Printing Provider called "Debug". This Printing Provider simulates the document creation and instead creates a Sample Document in the "Related tab" of the entity in question.
The "Debug" provider can be enabled for all the available documents in the system or only for the needed documents or documents that can not be printed in the given moment.
Business Benefit
Consultants or admin users can "debug" or "fake" the printing of documents, while preparing/testing a new environment, without being disrupted, until an actual print integration is ready to be tested. With the existence of this debug mode, functions and validations in the workflow, that would normally require a printed document to exist, can be included and tested.
