The "LightConfigurator" interest type refers to an external configuration service that is providing all the data via services that are triggered during the Walk-In Process.
At the Walk-In Process, after selecting the desired Make, if this Make supports the aforementioned interest type then, a new page opens inside an iframe which loads all the data from the external service. At each step of the configuration, both systems exchange data via service calls.
At the final step of the configuration, an inquiry is created with all the details from the configuration JSON serialized at the U_IDMS_InquiryInt column of the @IDMS_INQUIRY_BUFFER table.
