Users can update the model tree data of DSW through the UI.
Step-by-step guide
- From menu, search for "Data Import" and select it.
- You will be redirected to the following page
/ssis/ssisjobsgridlist
This is a list which contains the previous executed import processes - On the top right menu "Actions", click and select the "Import Model Tree" item. ( Image 1 )
- A dialog will open in order to upload the model tree file and the email where the process will sent the results. ( Image 2 )
- Select "Execute" to start the import
When the process is started, a record is appeared in the list with status "Initialized".
If the process is started successfully, the status will be changes to "Succeeded".
If any issue occur the status will be "Failed" and in Info column an error message will be displayed.
The model tree process is an asynchronous process and you will be notified for the result through email.
If the environment has also a Configurator, the process will update also the Configurator and you will receive an additional email regarding the result.
