General Description of the Feature
This feature deals with the development of a new functionality and an enhancement of the current system, where it is possible to configure different Numbering Series per entity or document.
The Entity Business Partner is can now receive a Presentation Numbering Serie.
As mentioned in 2.72.3 Document No. Series for DSW & DASW - Documents the numbering series can be configured and get generated per 3 possible parameters.
In addition per Entity Numbering Setup , the following must be configured:
- Table Name (mandatory): Contact person is selected here
- Sub Field and Sub Field Value (optional) according the type of the CP
- Increment (mandatory): The number the system should add each time a new entity is created and gets a numbering series
- Prefix and/or Suffix (optional): A string that should be added at Front or/and at the End of a generated numbering series.
Next Number (mandatory): The first number that the first generated entity will get
Business Benefit
Customers can now have different CP numbering series per selected characteristic
