General Description of the Feature

What is considered as 2nd language, can be found in the setup key "LHLanguageOrder" ( contains both languages separated by character ";")

When a new model tree is uploaded with alternative language descriptions in several entities such as Makes, Families,  Drive Types, Engine Types, Fuel Type, Body Styles the new value is stored in U_IDMS_DescriptionL2 column.

These values will also appear in:

  • Print provider parameters by enhancing the vehicle related parameters with secondary language info so the printable (offers, orders, etc.) can include those values for Retail Lead and MUS.
  • Smart notifications by enhancing them with these alternate language parameters for Retail Lead and MUS.
