General Description of the Feature
With this new feature you can copy one user's settings to another.
When you create a user (i.e.Kevin Seymour) now you are able via "Action" button, to select the option "Copy User Settings" and to copy its (i.e. "Nikos Ioannou") settings to another user (i.e. "Kevin Seymour").
This function is copying:
- groups
- teams
- dimension persmissions
- user sales area
- User login - the User login is being copyed partially (all information will be copied without the B1 user credentials).
After finishing the process, at the "User Logins" tab, in the newlly added entry, there will be displayed an exclamation mark at the "B1 User ID" field. When hover on it, the message "No B1UserId is set This User Login is invalid" will appear. Then ,the user manually should provide the user's SAP B1 credentials.
Business Benefit
Creating users, with the same settings, will be done very fast with the help of "Copy User Settings" functionality.
