Ad-Hoc email is available through Action button within the Business partner or the Lead process page (Sales/Purchase).
To configure it, prepare:
- the Master and Content template in the notification server as usual.
- The Master template should in include the generic desired design of the email
- The Content email should remain completely empty (the text will be filled from the AdHoc text the user will add)
- the Notification Template through the "List of Notification Templates": /SetupEntities/List/Workflow/IDMS_WF_NotifTemplate with the following info:
- ModelResolver = OneDealer.SalesAndLeads.BusinessLayer.Notifications.EmailAdHocNotificationResolver, OneDealer.SalesAndLeads.BusinessLayer
- Master: the Name of the master template
- Content Template: the Name of the content template
- the Notification Group through the "Workflow Notification Group List": /workflow/WFNotificationsGroupList
- Add inside the Notification Template made in step 2
- Add inside the Notification Template made in step 2
- Search in the menu for the “Setup” and open the Setup table
- Search the word “EmailAdHoc”
- Configure the following setup keys that will be displayed:
- EmailAdHocMasterTemplateName: Add into the field Entity Value the code name of the Master template you want to use.
- EmailAdHocContentTemplateName: Add into the field Entity Value the code name of the Content (Mail) template you want to use.
- EmailAdHocNotificationTempl: Add into the field Entity Value the "Code" of the already made Notification Template Group from step 3.
