General Description of the Feature
The already existing functionality of "Saved Searches" is revamped to cover the need of creating more generic saved searches based on the model tree (generic model) and not on a specific vehicle.
On the "Create Saved Search" form the "Make and Models" section has changed and includes 3 sub-sections: Model Tree 1, Model Tree 2 and Model Tree 3. This sub-sections include the 3 levels of the model tree (Make, Family, Model) which can be used to create different combinations for a potential Saved Search. In addition, below the sub-sections, two extra fields have been added: "Make for Model as a Comment" and "Model as a Comment" which can be used for a more generic vehicle model combination, when the exact information are not added within the model tree.
Additionally, a new Action button has been added in the Business Partner card page, called created "Saved search for a Vehicle". The user can create directly for within the Business Partner a new Saved Search. In this case, the field "Contact Person" in the "Create Saved Search" pop-up follows the below rule:
- If the Business Partner is Private, the field is filled automatically with the main contact person of the private BP.
- If the Business Partner is Company,
- and the Company BP has only one Contact Person, the field is filled automatically with the related CP.
- and the Company BP has more than one related Contact Persons, the field remain empty and the user should click and select from the drop down the desired contact person. The drop-down will include only the related Contact Persons of this Company BP.
Business Benefit
This enhancement gives to the Sales Executive (Sales Person/Sales Manager) the possibility to better handle/search for vehicles (even upcoming/future ones) based on preselected criteria. The newly added criteria can cover a more enhanced version of searching for vehicles with specific characteristics and cover every customer's need.
