Configuration 

For adding a parameter in a “Document Template” you need to find the desired location on the template and then:

  • Select the Developer (Tab) and at the "Controls" section - click on "Legacy Tool" - "Text Form field".
  • Double click on the gray marked area.
  • Provide the "Default text" field
  • Click on "Add Help Text" button
  • Click on "Type your own" option and provide the parameter

 

Additional Information 

The parameters can be available in any .rtf document as long as you enable at the Word, the “Developer” tools by:

  • Selecting “Options”
  • Selecting “Customize Ribbon”
  • Clicking on “Developer” icon
