General Description of the Feature
There was a need to improve the current Valet service handover and delivery process for courtesy vehicles. We now allow users to report changes in vehicle damages both during handover and upon delivery. These damages are recorded in our existing damages tables. Readers should be familiar with the existing functionalities when going through this document. For more information, refer to ticket ODP-1179.
Exterior Body Inspection
An Exterior Body Inspection section has been added to the Contract Details page.

Functions:
- adding damages
- undo your changes by clicking Undo button
- edit damages by clicking Edit Inspection
Damage types:
- scratch
- dent
- chip
- Adding damage
User can click anywhere on the image to indicate a new damage.
Upon clicking, a flyout appears with three options: Scratch, Dent, and Chip.
After selecting a type, the corresponding icon from the legend box appears at the clicked spot.
- Undo
Undo Button: Users can undo newly added damages (but not the pre-existing ones)
- Edit inspection
The button is for entering or exiting the edit mode.
This enables to remove any damage by clicking the red mark on the top right of the damage icon.
Handover and Delivery Media
During the handover phase (when the contract is "Open"), users can add handover media.
During the delivery phase (contract is "In Process"), only delivery media can be added.
In other statuses, the media sections are read-only.
If the status is "Closed", users will see the damages present when the Delivery Contract was signed. If the contract is cancelled, no damages are displayed.
If the contract is cancelled then no Damages will be shown.
Once "Print Contract" is chosen, users sign the contract as before, with no changes in the flow.
Job Card - Valet Services tab enhancements
The Valet Service tab now features the Exterior Body Inspection section, which includes the new controls previously described. The tab's logic remains unchanged. This enhancement is relevant only when the valet status is 'In Progress'. In this state, users can view the damages and the media that were added during the handover process.
Business Benefit
This new section includes a control that allows users to add or remove damages on a vehicle template. Additionally, there are two subsections for uploading media: one for the handover process and the other for the delivery process.
