The user can create a new vehicle by select the + button located in the page header, The main form is loaded and the user can fill-out the required fields.
This form contains many fields but the most important and some of them already defined as mandatory are:
- Owner/Sponsor: In case of a customer vehicle the owner (look-up in the BPs) and the sponsor (look-up in the BPs) must be selected.
- Mileage (KM): if known the actual km stand of the car.
- Vehicle status: select one of the values from the drop-down list (i.e. Customer vehicle) - important information since it is considered whether the car will be available for sale and reservation)
- Salable: (Yes/No); when No the car is not available for sales in the inventory grid list loaded from within the lead process, if yes, then the car is available for selection
- Vehicle type: select one of the available vehicle types from the drop-down list
- Make: Mandatory field, select from available makes in the model tree
- Family / Model: not mandatory, but the user can select from the available in the model tree
- Model as a comment: used in case of not existing family/model in the model tree
- VIN: not a mandatory field
- License Plate No: Mandatory field when the vehicle status is Customer
- Production date: Is not mandatory field
- Labor type: Is not mandatory field
- Differential Taxation; in case of used cars
- Branch: the branch in which the car is available - the user can select from the drop-down list
- Location: the location of the car (not mandatory for VSS) - the user can select from the drop-down list
the branch and the location are considered when listing the vehicles in the inventory grid list in relation to the user's dimension permissions.
