General Description of the Feature
With this feature the development of a new process and page called "Vehicle Comparison" is introduced within the regular Lead creation process from Configurator Interest Types, such as Advance Configurator, GME Configurator, CDSystem Configurator.
When the new functionality is enabled (WalkinVehicleComparisonEnabled = True) the "Vehicle Comparison" page opens right after the user finishes with the VOI configuration and before the Lead creation pop-up. The system checks and displays within the Vehicle Comparison page, Vehicles that belong to the Inventory or the Stock Locator and are similar (based on some rules) with the VOI configured from the relevant Configurator.
The rules change based on the type of the Configurator:
- For Advance Configurator, the validation rules are:
- matching Make, Family, Model
- For the GME Configurator and CDSystem Configurator, the validation rules are:
- matching Make and Model Description
If no vehicle is found matching the above rules both for the Inventory search and the StockLocator search, then the user receives a warning (orange) message, informing him that no vehicles found during the comparison search.
The "Vehicle Comparison" grid list includes the following fields when opened:
- Exact Match - Possible Values: Yes/No.
The system checks if the Options of the vehicle is an exact match with the options selected in the configured VOI. Available only in case of VOI from Advance Configurator. - Photo

All the fields are filled with information available in each vehicle line.
User Actions - Vehicle Comparison page
Within the "Vehicle Comparison" page a user can perform a series of available actions. In each vehicle row, the user has the possibility to select between three actions: Details, Compare, Select
Details
A preview page of the selected vehicle is displayed, including all the basic information for this vehicle.

Compare
A comparison page between the selected vehicle and the VOI from the configuration is displayed. The sections included in the comparison page are based on the Interest Type of the selected Vehicle.

Select
On select, the Lead creation process continues. The Lead that will be created will include two VOIs inside, the selected Vehicle (as primary VOI) and the configuration (as active VOI). The user can switch between the two VOIs and work with the Workflow following the regular process for Leads with multiple VOIs.
Lead creation without compared vehicle
The user can completely ignore the compared vehicles found, by selecting the arrow icon (top right of the page) and continue with the Lead creation process with only VOI the Configured Vehicle. In this case, the Leads creation pop-up will open, the user can select information from the relevant drop-downs (Source, Channel, etc.) and the Lead that will be created will include only one VOI, the configuration one.
Business Benefit
Provide the possibility to a user to search and compare vehicles, existing in the inventory or/and in the stock locator, and are similar with the Configured VOI from the selected configurator.
