General Description of the Feature
This feature deals with the development of a new set of Workflow tools that can be used for a "Fast Order" process. This is relevant is cases of small dealerships selling mainly Used vehicles, that want to be able to create Offer and Order for a vehicle fast, in one step.
By adding the new Transition Required View and External Function under a Workflow transition, the users are able with one process step to prepare an Offer, create an Offer document and create also an Order document.
Process
When the relevant configured transition is selected, the system will open the regular Offer page including all the sections for preparing an Offer. On save of the transition, the external function will be triggered and in one step the system will create for the printable for the Offer document and the printable for the Order document.
The Order created from this step will be a direct copy of the Offer. The two documents will have their usual relation, which can be seen in the "Relation" column of the document lines in the "Related" tab.
Business Benefit
In the cases where the customer wants to buy a used vehicle in low-price areas, creating an offer and then an order could be combined in 1 process step and provide a faster solution.
