General Description of the Feature
Enhance the current Publish Vehicle Inventory to the Market Places Process. Supporting more comprehensive Flags & Features Mapping. As well multiple publishing under different categories as well regular update (creating Clones).
To add a clone and publish it to car.gr, please proceed as described below:
- Open a vehicle that has already been published in DSW
- In the vehicle master data click on “Actions” → “Add” → “Car.gr clone”
- In the shown pop-up select the desired vehicle type & body style combination for which the vehicle shall be published again (e.g. an already publication under Category “Car” can now also be cloned for type “Taxi”)
- Clones will be shown in the corresponding tab
- Open car.gr publication page
- Select vehicle(s) to be published
- Open the publication via “View”
- Publication via XML Export (refresh page after publication)
- If you open the XMl you will see that 2 vehicle types (in this example “car” and “taxi) are included in the publication:
- Open and login to Car.gr (https://www.car.gr/) and upload XML URL to check
If everything is “Green” the publication will be uploaded automatically according to the automated interval times at car.gr. Example of clone publications:

Business Benefit
Before the implementation of the Car.gr clone the vehicle was created (exports in Excel) only with the header information. Now the user can create new clones. Clones is a different match of a vehicle type with the body style for the same vehicle. These pairs can be created from “Add Car.gr Clone” action and are presentable at “Car.gr Clones” tab in the vehicle card page.
