General Description of the Feature
With this new feature the user should be able to configure different channels per consent. Until now, the dealer data privacy had one collection of channels for all the dealer’s consent. Now if the setup key “AreDataPrivacyChannelsPerConsent” is true, every dealer consent has his own collection of channels. At the new implementation, all the dealer’s consents are fully setup-able from the "List of Data Privacy Consents" page. Regarding the creation of the GDPR, all incoming services to OD, the duplicate check functionality, and the creation of a CP or BP (checkboxes with the channels at the creation form), creates or updates the dealer consent that has been assigned with the Business Process “Customer Notification”, when the setup key “AreDataPrivacyChannelsPerConsent” is true. "Business Process" is an assign functionality to a consent and there are two implemented business processes for now:
1. Customer Notification: OD will send any kind of notifications based on the channels of the assigned consent
2. Data Privacy Icons: OD will show all dealer data privacy icons based on the channels of the assigned consent
A consent can be activated or deactivated by the Activate/Deactivate row action or by the Active switch control on the form. In addition a consent can be deleted by the Delete row action.
Business Benefit
This feature is enhanced the GDRP to handle different channels per dealer consent. The consents are configurable since every company can define their consents by themselves.
Configuration
- Define the value of the setup Key: AreDataPrivacyChannelsPerConsent:
- true: the system should handle channels per consent (enables GDPR Enhancement)
- false: the system should assign the checkmarked channels to all consents (works with the old way)
- Assign the following Business Case: 12126 to the user who want to be able to configure "GDPR Enhancements" feature.
- At "List of Data Privacy Consents" page (~/SetupEntities/List/BusinessPartner/IDMS_DATAPRIV_CONS) create "Consents". Assign "Business Processes" to Consents. Note: A "Business Process" can be assigned only to one Consent
- Create a GDPR Smart Document ( .rtf file) and provide relevant parameters found in GDPR print templates.
- Upload the GDPR Smart Document on the Notification Server.
- Define at DSW which file is the GDPR Smart Document at "List of Document Templates" (~/SetupEntities/List/Workflow/IDMS_WF_DocumentTemplate)
- Setup the "Printer Provider" for "GDPR Document" to "One Dealer Internal" (~/SetupEntities/PrintProviderForBusinessType)
