General Description of the Feature
Product changes:
The Trade-In pop-up window and tab in the sales Lead/Opportunity have been enhanced with a new section that has the following information:
- Section Name: DMS Information
- This section includes 3 new informational fields:
- DMS Make Code
- DMS Family Code
- DMS Model Code
AVAG Tenant changes:
The addition of a Trade-In vehicle in a sales Lad/Opportunity is also affecting the Offer sheet. During the offer sheet creation the system will create a document line for the Trade-In vehicle, instead of adding the Trade-In into the Offer-sheet notes section. Adding the Trade-In into the notes section was a behavior inherited to all the environments that belong to the German Localization tenant. With the development of the feature, even in the AVAG tenant, the addition of a Trade-In into an offer sheet will behave again like it is in the "Product" line.
Business Benefit
With this changes and enhancement, if needed, DSW will be able to include the Trade-In information into the ODIL integration and thus communicate them later to any DMS. The integration process is not described or defined in this feature.
Configuration
There is not any new configuration needed in order to enable this functionality. However, there are some existing prerequisites:
