General Description of the Feature
This feature notifies the user when inbound messages arrive from WhatsApp at DSW.
In addition, the unread messages provided at the "New WhatsApp Messages" dashboard widget at the home page.
Business Benefit
The user get notified as long as a WhatsApp message arrived at DSW from a CP/BP. Unread messages will be displayed at the "New WhatsApp Messages" widget.
Configuration
This functionality is available to the user when the field "Receive new message WhatsApp Notification" is set to "Yes" at "My Profile".
In Addition, for environments that have integration with the What's App service the following Infrastructure configuration should take place, in order for the whole new module to be enabled:
- In the Notification Server the relevant entry in the InboundHandlers table should be created with the information of the What's App mobile phone, environment URL and enabled feature.
Additional Information
The above feature will be available as long as:
- The CP/BP should consent at the Data Privacy on the "SMS Channel Available".
- The provided mobile phone by the CP/BP should have already a registered WhatsApp account.
