This functionality deals with the possibility to be able to monitor/view customer related action that took place in DSW, directly from the Outlook account of an employee / sales person of a dealership.

With the activation of the DSW Office add-in while reading an email from a customer, users are able to login, through their Outlook application, to the relevant DSW account they possess and the add-in will display directly any entities (Business Partner, Contact Person, Leads, Opportunities, Purchase Leads) related with this customer. If there are no entities at all, the user has the opportunity to create the customer as Business Partner directly from within the add-in page, with the minimum data provided from the customer email and without the need to switch into the DSW application.

How to use

Upon receiving an email, click on the email, select the three dots (...) at the right and then choose DSW

Use the personal user credentials and select the relevant company to login.

After the above, system will request from the user the password and log the use in his/her private DSW account.

Immediately the user will be able to see in a list all the entities related with the customer from the incoming email. The search in the system is performed based on the email account from the incoming email.

If no record is found, the system is provided the option to create a new Business Partner related with the incoming email information.

In addition the users are able to attach the incoming email by selecting the contact and click  on 'Attach'. By pressing  the user gets redirected to customer's account in Digital Sales Workplace and under 'related' tab the attachment is included.
