General Description of the Feature

This feature introduces the capability to send automatic notifications to customers via email when a scheduled sales activity is reassigned to a different salesperson. The feature is applicable to specific activity types, such as Test Drives, Visit Appointments, and Deliveries, ensuring that customers are promptly informed about changes in their scheduled activities.

  • Activity Types Triggering Notifications:

    • Test Drive
    • Visit Appointment
    • Delivery
  • Setup Requirements:

    • Specific setup keys must be configured in the system to identify the activity types and the corresponding email templates to be used for notifications.

Process Overview:

  1. Activity Rescheduling:

    • When a scheduled activity is reassigned to a different salesperson, the system triggers an email notification to the customer.
    • The notification template is selected based on the activity type and setup keys.
  2. Email Notification:

    • The email can include details about the new and previous salespersons, based on the newly developed notification parameters, ensuring the customer is well-informed about the change.

Business Benefit 

This enhancement improves customer communication by automatically notifying them of changes in their scheduled sales activities. It ensures that customers are always informed about who their new point of contact is, enhancing transparency and customer satisfaction.
