General Description of the Feature

With this feature system is able to send two types of Viber messages, Ad-hoc to BP or Notifications from Workflow.

For the Ad-hoc messages following the configuration:

  • The first step is to create a Master Template in Notification Server

Template Type: Razor

  • The second step is to create a Mail Template.

In DSW the steps for the configuration are the following:

  • The first step is to create a template in Notification Template grid list 

    • Select the Master Template from dropdown menu
    • Select Content Template from related Drop Down menu
    • Model Revolver for Viber is OneDealer.SalesAndLeads.BusinessLayer.Notifications.ViberAdHocNotificationResolver, OneDealer.SalesAndLeads.BusinessLayer
    • Turn to Yes the switch Viber and the GDPR
  • The second step is to create a Notification Group in Notification Group grid list.

    • Complete the field Description with name for the group
    • Choose cross button add the template was created before
    • Finally click Save.

Copy the value of the Column "Code" to Setup key Viber Notification template group code

  • The next step add in the Setup key  Viber Sender Phone with sender mobile phone. For the test +4915735990883.

For the Workflow notification following the configuration:

  • The first step is to create a Master Template in Notification Server:

Template Type: Smart

Model Type: Sales

In DSW  the steps for the configuration are the following:

  • The first step is to create a template in Workflow Smart Notification List

Complete the popup window

    • Select the Master Template where created in Notification Server from drop down menu.
    • Field Content Template select the mail template where created in notification server
    • Turn switch to Yes on field Viber, GDPR and the workflow related.
  • The second step is to create a Notification Group in Workflow Notification Group grid list.


Complete the "Description" field by entering the name of the group. Use the cross button below to select the template from the Workflow Smart Notification List.

  • Setup the notification in workflow 

Select workflow from workflow list 

Select the transition to add the notification 

From Transition's Action Menu select the "Notification Templates"

Select the template from check box and Save

Next, to enable the Viber option in the communication section of the Business Partner's Action Button menu, assign Business Case 12800 to the user.

To enable the Viber option in the communication section of the Lead/Opportunities Action Button menu, assign Business Case 12810 to the user.

After this configuration, the salesperson can send a Viber message to the BP from the Business Partner Card Page.

Business Partners can respond to Viber messages from salesperson (OD). When the message is received in OD, the salesperson is notified through a bell notification.

The same process is followed for sending messages to Business Partners from the Lead/Opportunities page.

Salesperson can send Viber messages to Business Partners from the Lead Card Page.

Business Partners have the capability to respond to Viber messages from Salespersons.

When a message is received in OD, a notification is displayed in the Bell Notification icon . If the salesperson clicks on the notification, the system redirects them to the BP Card.

An other functionality of Viber communication is to send files (txt, pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, jpg and npg) to Business Partners, salespersons can follow these steps in addition to entering free text:

From the Viber chat window, the salesperson can select the clip icon.


The salesperson must select the "Upload a file" button


The next step is to select an image and click "Open."


 

Finally, the salesperson must select the "Send" button to send the image or the "Delete" button to choose another imag

If the salesperson clicks on the "Send" button, the image is displayed in the Viber chat window.

File size

The file size we can send should not exceed 4MB.

After completing the above configuration, salespersons can set up notifications via workflow. For example, we have added a notification for the Test Drive transition.



Business Benefit

The feature enables communication with Business Partners using free text, images, or notifications directly from the lead workflow.
