General Description of the Feature

The Job Card & Appointment Grid Lists and the Reception tab of Job Cards and Appointments applications was enhanced to inform the service advisor if there is Mobility Contract Available for the service order.
Thanks to this feature, any number of labors can be flagged in advance as representing a Mobility Guarantee contract. Then, when any of these Labors are added to a Job Card, the system will indicate to the user that the Job Card is related to active mobility contract.

This happens as follows:
when the user first adds a Mobility Guarantee-related labor to the Job Card, the field Mobility Contract is marked as "Yes" (by default it is False).
The Mobility Contract indicator can be seen in the Reception tab of the Job Card.

Logic:
if any CC of the Job Card contains a Labor Code added to the relevant setup key, the switch will be set to True (green). Else is False (grey).

The flag has also been added to the Grid List as a new column. This allows to see which Job Card has an active mobility contract before opening the Job Card.

It can also be used as a filter, so with a few clicks all the related Job Cards are listed.

Business Benefit

The service advisor is now aware that a mobility contract exists for Job Card.

Configuration

For this feature the following configuration is needed:

  • reach the Labor List (/Labor/LaborList) to get the Labor Code(s) we would like to add as Mobility Guarantee Labor(s)

Setup Keys:

  • IsMobilityGuaranteeLaborCode (Value = Labor Code)

Additional Information

The overall concept is going to be updated when the "Service Contracts Entities & Functionality" solution (ODP-1187) is realized.
