Online Service Tacker - Content (Stage Groups)

To improve the UI and make the online service tracker more configurable we should be able to manage which stage groups will displayed in the Online Service Tracker. Therefore, the below changes are developed.

Two new fields have been added in the Stage Group update and create form:

  • Display in B2C: Boolean Field if it is true the it should be displayed as State in the Online Service Tracker if it False it should not be displayed. By default it should be false.
  • Is Final: Utilized the field “Is Final” from the Stage Group and if the field is marked as final is displayed as “Completed”.

The shorting order of the stage groups within the online service tracker page is controlled from the "Short" field in the form.

This feature is part of the Digital After Sales Workplace (DASW) module of OneDealer. It is mandatory that the DASW module is enabled and fully configured for this feature to work properly.

Business Benefit

Dealers now have a tool designed to meet this challenge head-on with DASW Ongoing Service Tracker, which offers the following benefits:

  1. Real-Time Service Status: Dealers can offer their customers the ability to access real-time vehicle service status updates online through a customized URL link provided via email or text message.
  2. Increased Consumer Transparency: Dealership trust and loyalty increase when consumers have visibility into the status of their vehicle throughout the service experience.
  3. Reduce Phone Call Volume: Service advisors as well as Call Agents  can spend less time answering the phone and focus on other tasks at hand, increasing department capacity and improving the customer experience.
