1.6.2.1.a General Description of the Feature
The editing functionality of an existing Offer has been added in Digital Sales Workplace.
In order to edit an existing Offer, the salesperson must select the workflow activity of "New Offer creation" and when the offer sheet opens he must select the "View" button of the existing Offer
Then the "Offer Preview" pop-up window will open with the options of "Cancel", "Select" and "Print"
By choosing the "Select" option, the Offer opens in an Offer sheet and editing functionality is available for all the contents of the Offer
If the salesperson edit the field of the final "Offer Price" then all the values of the Offer are updated accordingly
Basic data logic validation(s)
When an existing Offer is edited in any of it's values or with a Trade In vehicle and then saved, then a new Offer is created and is displayed in "Printable Files" section of the "Related" tab.
In order to add a Trade In vehicle in an Offer, the salesperson must create first the Trade In vehicle and then choose the activity of the Offer creation.
1.6.2.1.b Business Benefit
This feature provides to the salesperson the possibility to create a new Offer through the existing one, by simply editing the fields and values (or adding an extra item), without the need to create of a new Offer from the beginning, and this is extremely usefull especially when a vehicle Offer contains many items.
