General Description of the Feature
The 3KA-Konfigurator is an Online-Tool where Vehicle-configurations can be made for several Makes.
The 3KA-Konfigurator can be loaded from the Digital Sales Workplace during the process of Lead/Opportunity Creation. When the user completes the configuration of the vehicle, the configuration is saved in a file.
The configured vehicle is attached to the Lead/Opportunity created and stored in the Configurations History List as a Sales Quote for future reference.
The communication between DSW and 3KA-Configurator is done via a webservice.
Business Benefit
Using this feature, the user can easily define the “Vehicle of Interest”. This is done by selecting and combining available configuration options (Make, Models, Colors, equipment) based on the manufacturer's standards (obligations/restrictions). The user is informed about the specifications & prices and by saving the selected configuration the Vehicle of Interest is defined.
Configuration
This feature can be available in DSW after performing the following configurations:
Login at DSW as administrator and perform the following tasks at:
1) In the Setup table, the key below must have the specified value:
Configurator3KABaseUrl: http://demo-onedealer.ecar-manager.de
2) Mappings table, you need to access the mappings concerning the “DSW” and the “3KA Configurator” using the following extension “/Mappings/MainGridList” at DSW.
3) Then you need to access specific table concerning the mappings of “Makes”. This can be done by using the following filters: Relation: OD To 3KAConfigurator and Object Type: Car Make and then click on “Apply”.
The result of the filter will be the following:
By clicking on “View” you access the content of the table and you can start defining the mapping for the following Makes:
Opel, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Kia, Peugeot.
4) At “Inquiry Workflow Selection” define which workflow, the new Interest Type “Configurator3KA”, will have.
5) At “Inquiry Make Interest Type” define the Make of the new Interest Type “Configurator3KA”.
6) At “Inquiry Source Channel” define the Sources & Channels that will be available for that specific Interest Type “Configurator3KA”.
