Data Privacy User Guide

Data privacy tab at business partner page

Here you will find an overview of the customer GDPR

• Sections:
  • Channels: Channels that the customer agrees to communicate with the dealership
  • Usability Consents: Usability consents of the customer with the dealership
  • Third Parties Consents: Channels that the customer agrees to communicate with third parties (usually for manufacturers)
  • Customer Preferences: Choices of the customer
  • Last Section: you will find 2 buttons:
    1. Data Privacy Statement Document:
       • This button is available when the customer has signed a document
       • By clicking it you will open the signed document
    2. Data Privacy History: This button redirects you to the data privacy history of this Business Partner

Data privacy Actions

1. Upload Signed GDPR: By clicking this action a pop up appears

• Buttons:
  • Cancel: Closes the pop up
  • Customer disagrees: If the Business Partner disagrees with the data privacy, user can choose this action and the system will create a data privacy with all communication channels rejected
  • Save: User must upload a signed document to proceed
• Sections:
  • Channels: Channels that the customer agrees to communicate with the dealership

• • Usability Consents: Usability consents of the customer with the dealership

• • Third Parties Consents: Channels that the customer agrees to communicate with third parties (usually for manufactures)

• • Customer Preferences: Choices of the customer

• • Document: Choose a template to print the above preferences. Get the printed file, customer signs it and then sales person scans it and uploads it. (For more information on how to create a GDPR document template see GDPR print templates)

2. Digitally Sign GDPR

• Buttons:
  • Cancel: Return you to the page
  • Customer disagrees: If the Business Partner disagrees with the data privacy, user can choose this action and the system creates a data privacy with all the communication channels rejected
  • Digitally Sign: Redirect to the digitally sign page 
• Sections:
  • Channels: Channels that the customer agrees to communicate with the dealership

• • Usability Consents: Usability consents of the customer with the dealership

• • Third Parties Consents: Channels that the customer agrees to communicate with third parties (usually for manufactures)

• • Customer Preferences: Choices of the customer

• • Document: Choose a template to print the above preferences. (For more information on how to create a GDPR document template see GDPR print templates)

Digitally Sign Page

Opens when you click the "Digitally Sign" button and shows the document which is rendered based on the selected template and the user choices

• Footer Button:
  1. Save: The system will create a new data privacy for the BP
• Actions:
  1. Customer Signature

Data Privacy History Page

Opens from data privacy tab and represents the history of the data privacy statement
