Make & Family code mappings

In order for OD and the CD Configurator to communicate properly, a mapping between the Make codes and Family codes of both systems is needed.

Instructions

1) Navigate to ~/Mappings/MainGridList. This can also be done via the menu:

2) Use the filters on the right and select the following and then click "Apply:":

• Relation: OD to CD Configurator
• Object Type:
  • Car Make (for Make codes)
  • Family (for Family codes)

3) Click on the "View" action on the right hand-side of the found record

4) On this screen we can see the values from our system (Master) that are mapped to the other system (Secondary). After deciding which value we want to map, then we got to the right-hand side and click the action "Map from list".

5) A popup opens where the value of the Master system is already selected. By clicking at the empty dropdown control a grid list will open with the codes from the Secondary system.

6) After selecting the desired one, click "Save" at the popup and the new mapping is created.
